Bergamo Food Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe 5 to begin our food tour. We'll pass through the historic Porta Dipinta and enter the upper part of Lombard Town. Under the guidance of our expert, we'll explore the streets of Bergamo's historic centre, discovering traditional country dishes and the latest culinary trends of the region.

The tour starts with a traditional Bergamo aperitif paired with a glass of Valcalepio red wine, followed by a plate of fresh pasta, specifically foiade or casoncelli, known for their unique flavours. Our second tasting features polenta with lard and cheese, a classic recipe highlighting taleggio cheese, celebrated in Lombard gastronomy.

Concluding the tour, we'll visit an old ice cream parlour to enjoy coffee and stracciatella ice cream, a flavour invented in the 1960s. The tour lasts 3 hours.
