The Fish Market, Bryggen, Bergenhus Fortress... Join us for a guided tour of Bergen, one of Norway's major cities.
Description
We will meet at the National Theatre at the scheduled time to begin the guided tour of Bergen.
Our first stop will be Torgallmeningen Central Square, the city's main street and shopping area, where we will observe the various shops.
Next, we'll visit the Fish Market, known for its Nordic architecture and colorful houses typical of the region.
Following this, we will proceed to the Bryggen neighborhood, a World Heritage-listed site known for its historical significance and its role as the headquarters of the Hanseatic League.
We will also explore the Bergenhus Fortress, one of the best-preserved castles in Norway and a former royal residence, along with St. Mary's Church, the oldest building in Bergen, featuring a golden altarpiece.
Our tour will conclude back at the Fish Market, wrapping up our experience after 2 hours together.
