Berlin Guided Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the meeting point in Berlin's Government District. We'll start a guided tour of Berlin’s main arteries, squares, and important sites, beginning with monuments connected to World War II.
We will visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the Führerbunker, Adolf Hitler's former bunker. Next, we'll pass by the old Reich Air Ministry, visit a remaining section of the Berlin Wall, and see Checkpoint Charlie, the city's famous border crossing during the Cold War.
Then, we will go to the historical market square of Gendarmenmarkt to see the exteriors of its twin churches, followed by a stop at Bebelplatz, the site of the Nazi book burning in 1933.
To conclude, we will visit the Museum Island area to admire the Neo-Baroque façade of the Berlin Cathedral, built between the late 19th century and early 20th century. The tour ends after three and a half hours of sightseeing.
