A real-time treasure hunt full of history, riddles, puzzles, and other tests awaits you in this game of clues in Berlin. In this self-guided activity, you'll navigate through different parts of the city by following instructions on your mobile phone, experiencing the life of a Berliner during the Cold War.
Starting from central Leipziger Platz, you'll decipher clues and visit key locations in the two Germanys, including Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate, and Potsdamer Platz.
After an adventure covering about 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) and a total of 11 stops, the puzzle hunt concludes at the Brandenburg Gate.
What's the story?
The treasure hunt narrative transports you to post-World War II Germany when the nation was divided between the Allied and Soviet forces. Increasing tensions and the plight of Berliners fleeing from the German Democratic Republic led to the construction of the Wall in 1961.
In the game, you will play as a citizen of East Berlin, seeking to escape to join your brother in the western part of the city. You have between one hour to one and a half hours to achieve this escape before time runs out.
How does the puzzle hunt work?

Once you have the app, you can log in using your email address. Note that while a specific date is requested during reservation, you can enjoy the experience anytime after logging into the app.
