On this day trip to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen, we'll visit two significant historical sites in Germany in one day, which are essential if you're in Berlin.
Day Trip to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Brunnen der Völkerfreundschaft fountain in Alexanderplatz. From there, we'll board a bus for our excursion from Berlin.
We will start with a panoramic tour of the most important monuments of Berlin. Our first significant stop will be the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
Once there, we'll take a guided tour to understand the history of Nazi concentration camps. We will see the courtyards, barracks, and cells, and learn about the labor distribution and the punishments faced by the prisoners.
After Sachsenhausen, we will proceed to Potsdam, a World Heritage Site. You will have the option to enjoy an hour and a half of free time in the town or participate in a guided tour of Sanssouci Palace.
Finally, we'll return to Berlin and arrive back at the starting point after a total of 7 hours.
