The DDR Museum is located near the Berlin Cathedral and reviews the history of the German Democratic Republic in an interactive manner. It offers a 'hands-on experience of history.' Visitors can open drawers and cabinets to interact with various historical objects, enhancing their understanding of the culture and everyday life during that time.

You'll travel back to the Cold War era and learn about the Berlin Wall's erection aimed at isolating the GDR from Western Europe. Opening hours

The DDR Museum is open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm, except on December 24 and 31, when it closes at 4 pm.
