The DDR Museum is located near the Berlin Cathedral and reviews the history of the German Democratic Republic interactively. This museum offers a 'hands-on experience of history,' inviting visitors to open drawers and cabinets and interact with historical objects to understand the culture and everyday life during the time of the German Democratic Republic.
Visitors will journey back to the Cold War era, reflecting on the Berlin Wall's role in isolating the GDR from Western Europe. Opening hours
The DDR Museum is open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm, except on December 24 and 31, when it closes at 4 pm.
