Potsdam & Sachsenhausen Day Trip

Embark on an excursion to Potsdam and Sachsenhausen, where you'll explore two iconic historical sites in Germany in a single day—an essential experience for those visiting Berlin.

Excursion Details

We will convene at the designated hour at the Neptune Fountain, located centrally in Berlin. From there, we will board a bus to kick off an essential exploration of the city.

Our journey begins with a panoramic view of the key monuments of Berlin. Following this, we will make our way to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.

Upon arrival, a guided tour awaits, providing insight into the somber history of concentration camps in Germany during the Nazi era. Experience the courtyards, barracks, and cells, and understand the distribution of labor and the nature of the punishments meted out to inmates.

After our time at Sachsenhausen, we'll proceed to Potsdam, recognized as a World Heritage Site. Here, you will partake in a guided tour of the city, where you'll appreciate the magnificent exterior of Sanssouci Palace along with its expansive gardens. Following this tour, you will have an hour of free time to enjoy lunch in the town.

At the end of this insightful day, we will return to Berlin, concluding our trip approximately 9.5 hours after departure.
