Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

On this 2-day excursion to Lake San Nicolas, we'll camp in one of the most beautiful natural areas of Chiapas. Plus, we'll go on a night hike to admire the stars!

Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Lake San Nicolás

We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutierrez and head south. After a 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at Lake San Nicolás, close to the Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Upon arrival, we'll set up the tents and sleeping bags provided. Afterwards, we'll have breakfast, which includes coffee and tortilla wraps with eggs.

After breakfast, you can stroll around Lake San Nicolas to take pictures. We'll meet for lunch that includes grilled meat, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruit. The afternoon is free until dusk, when we'll go on a night hike.

During the hike, we'll admire the stars. After 1 hour, we'll return to the campsite for dinner, which is to be provided by you; please bring your own picnic.

Day 2: Lake San Nicolás - Tuxtla Gutiérrez

We'll wake up at 8 am for breakfast. After picking up the campsite, we'll start the return trip to Tuxtla Gutierrez. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 12 noon.
