Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

On this 2-day excursion to Lake San Nicolas, we'll camp in a picturesque area of Chiapas and enjoy a night hike to observe the stars.

Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Lake San Nicolás

Pickup will be at 7 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutierrez for a 3-hour drive to Lake San Nicolás, near Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Upon arrival, we'll set up tents and sleeping bags provided by us. Breakfast will include coffee and tortilla wraps with eggs.

After breakfast, you can explore Lake San Nicolas at your leisure for photography and enjoying the surroundings. We will gather for lunch, consisting of grilled meat, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruit. The afternoon is free until dusk for a night hike.

During this hike, you will admire the stars in the night sky for approximately one hour before returning to the campsite. Dinner will be on your own, so please bring your picnic.

Day 2: Lake San Nicolás - Tuxtla Gutiérrez

Wake-up will be at 8 am for breakfast. Afterward, we will pack up the campsite and begin our return trip to Tuxtla Gutierrez.

We aim to arrive at your hotel by 12 noon.
