Camping Adventure at Lake San Nicolás

Day 1: Departure from Tuxtla Gutiérrez to Lake San Nicolás

Your journey begins with a pickup at 7 am from your hotel in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, followed by a scenic three-hour drive south towards Lake San Nicolás, located near the Lagunas de Montebello National Park. This area is renowned for its lush and vibrant scenery.

Upon arrival at the lake, we will provide tents and sleeping gear for your stay. You'll savor a hearty breakfast featuring coffee and tortilla wraps filled with eggs.

Timezone permitting, feel free to explore the surroundings of Lake San Nicolás at your own pace. Capture photos and relish the beauty before gathering at the campsite for a delicious lunch consisting of grilled meats, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruits. The afternoon is yours to unwind until sunset, when we will set out for a night hike.

During this leisurely stroll, gaze upon the sparkling stars above. After one hour, we will return to our campsite, where dinner will be your responsibility; make sure to bring a picnic to enjoy!

Day 2: Lake San Nicolás to Tuxtla Gutiérrez

The second morning starts bright and early at 8 am with a delightful breakfast. Following this, we will pack up the campsite and begin our journey back to Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

We anticipate arriving back at your hotel around 12 noon.
