Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

On this 2-day excursion to Lake San Nicolas, we'll camp in a natural area of Chiapas and enjoy a night hike to observe the stars.

Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Lake San Nicolás

We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutierrez and head south for a 3-hour drive to Lake San Nicolás, near Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Upon arrival, we'll set up the tents and sleeping bags provided. Afterward, we'll have breakfast with coffee and tortilla wraps with eggs.

After breakfast, you can stroll at your leisure around Lake San Nicolás for photos. We'll regroup for lunch, which includes grilled meat, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruit. The afternoon is free until dusk, when we will embark on a night hike.

During the hike, we'll admire the stars. After an hour, we'll return to the campsite for dinner on your own, so be sure to bring your picnic.

Day 2: Lake San Nicolás - Tuxtla Gutiérrez

We'll wake up at 8 am for breakfast, then pack up the campsite and start the return trip to Tuxtla Gutierrez.

Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 12 noon.
