Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

On this 2-day excursion to Lake San Nicolas, we will camp in a beautiful natural area of Chiapas and enjoy a night hike to observe the stars.

Lake San Nicolás Camping Trip

Day 1: Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Lake San Nicolás

We will pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Tuxtla Gutierrez and drive for 3 hours to Lake San Nicolás, near Lagunas de Montebello National Park. Upon arrival, we will set up the tents and sleeping bags provided. Breakfast will include coffee and tortilla wraps with eggs.

After breakfast, you can stroll around Lake San Nicolas to take pictures. Lunch will consist of grilled meat, coffee, fresh water, and seasonal fruit. You will have the afternoon free until dusk for a night hike.

On the hike, we will admire the stars. After 1 hour, we will return to the campsite, where dinner will be on your own; please bring your picnic.

Day 2: Lake San Nicolás - Tuxtla Gutiérrez

We will wake up at 8 am for breakfast, then pack up the campsite and head back to Tuxtla Gutierrez.

Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 12 noon.
