At the designated time, we will begin our guided tour of Biarritz at the entrance of the Casino Barrière, where we will have a panoramic view of the Atlantic.

Adjacent to this luxury establishment, we will explore why Biarritz is considered one of the most exclusive coastal towns in Aquitaine. We will share anecdotes and curiosities from the Belle Époque, a transformative period for the city from 1871 to 1914, similar to the developments during the “Roaring Twenties.”

At the foot of the casino, we will find the Great Beach of Biarritz, a popular surfing spot. We will stroll along the promenade, reflecting on events from the 17th and 18th centuries, including pirate-related stories.

At one end of the beach, we will visit the Hôtel du Palais, learning about the historical marriage of Eugénie de Montijo and Napoleon III, who established this palace-hotel.

We will then continue to the opposite end of the beach to admire the architecture of the church of Saint Eugénie, built in honor of the emperor's wife.

Following a coastal path, we will pass the Biarritz Aquarium and reach the Rocher de la Vierge. This crag overlooking the sea features a virgin carving, accessible via a footbridge over the Atlantic, the only route to the islet.

After an hour and a half of walking, we will conclude the tour at this final destination.
