At this pintxos workshop in Bilbao, we'll explore Basque gastronomy using traditional and innovative techniques to create culinary delights.
Description
We'll meet at 3 Goienkale to begin our journey through Basque gastronomy and its flagship dish, pintxos. Participants will learn how to make tapas, utilizing various techniques, including molecular cooking. Experience being a Basque chef by creating authentic culinary masterpieces with the ingredients provided.
We will delve into the tradition of Basque cuisine by preparing traditional recipes, including gilda, pil pil cod, smoked veal, and gatzatua, and will give these dishes a modern twist.
Participants will also enjoy some local cheese and wine while cooking. At the end of the workshop, we will taste our creations. The session lasts for 2 hours before we conclude with a satisfied farewell.
