Guggenheim Museum Private Tour
After meeting at the stairs at the back of the Museum, we'll begin a 1 hour 30 minute tour around the main rooms of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
We'll get an overview of the architectural work by Frank Gehry, inaugurated in 1997. The museum changed the face of Bilbao, transforming it from an industrial city into a cosmopolitan one.
Inside the Guggenheim Bilbao, we'll tour its main works of contemporary art, including "Crucifixion" by Antonio Saura, "The Great Blue Anthropometry" by Yves Klein, and the "Tulips" by Jeff Koons located outside. We will also learn about two notable works within the museum: the spider-shaped sculpture "Mama" by Louise Bourgeois and the iconic sculpture "Puppy" by Jeff Koons, a symbol of Bilbao.
The visit will include an overview of other significant works at the Guggenheim Bilbao that have marked the history of art in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The tour will conclude by returning to the starting point.
