San Sebastian & Getaria Trip

After pickup at your selected meeting point, we start our day trip to San Sebastian and Guetaria. Our first visit is to a 16th-century Basque hamlet, where we will tour a historic winepress and enjoy a cider tasting. This sets the tone for a day in Basque country.

Next, we head to San Sebastian, arriving in about 30 minutes. Our second stop is the Monte Igueldo lookout point, providing panoramas of La Concha beach. We then walk to the city, viewing its impressive buildings and historical sites. San Sebastian was named the European Capital of Culture in 2016.

You will have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch at local restaurants. Afterward, we will continue our journey while viewing Zarautz, a popular seaside town.

We will then take a guided tour of the historic center of Guetaria, explore the fishing port, visit the church of San Salvador, and see the monument to Juan Sebastian Elcano, the sailor who circumnavigated the globe.

Our day concludes with a return to Bilbao, dropping you off at the starting point after a total of 9 hours.
