Free Walking Tour Details

On the activity day, we'll meet at the Advanced Gate in Birgu at the scheduled time. The tour will begin, exploring the Pearl of the Three Cities. The expert local guide will share insights into Birgu's history and Baroque architecture, covering significant sites like the Advanced Gate, Gate of Provence, and Fort St. Angelo, which played crucial roles during the Great Siege of Malta in 1565. Additionally, we'll visit the Bastions of St. John and St. James and the Armoury of the Knights of St. John, discussing the impact of Second World War events on the city.

The tour will also highlight architectural marvels, including the Bishop's Palace, Huesca Palace, and Inquisitor's Palace, along with historically relevant sites such as the Freedom Monument and Victorious City Marina. The tour will conclude after 1 hour and 45 minutes.
