Konorchek Canyon Private Hiking Tour

Enjoy a day in the middle of nature surrounded by unique landscapes on a private, full-day trek through the Konorchek Canyon. You'll love it!

Activity Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Bishkek. We will travel for 2.5 hours to the Konorcher Canyon in a comfortable minibus.

Once there, we will begin an 8 km (4.9 mi) hiking route, taking approximately 3 hours. The hike will feature winding terrain with immense reddish cliffs and narrow walls, allowing exploration of the area's unique features.

We will pause at a strategic point for a picnic consisting of meat, chicken or fish, fried eggs, vegetables or salad, bread, a chocolate bar, fruit, and juice.

After the break, we will continue to appreciate the geological formation of Konorchek, including the remains of the ancient Segizkhan-Shokny volcano, a rare phenomenon in Central Asia. We will see fossilised shells, evidence of the area's underwater past. After this expedition, we will return to the starting point and then back to your hotel, concluding the adventure after a total of 10 hours.

Important Info

The hiking trail is moderately difficult, with varied and sometimes steep terrain. The path consists mainly of dirt and sand trails with moderate slopes. Participants should be in good physical shape and wear suitable footwear.
