Pau Electric Bike Tour

Sport, tourism and history come together on this electric bike tour of Pau, where we'll explore one of the most beautiful cities in the French Pyrenees.

Itinerary

We will start this electric bike tour of Pau from the Parc Aquasports. After brief instructions, we'll embark on a low-difficulty 13 km (8-mile) route around the city. The route includes several stops to learn about the history and landscape, considered one of the most picturesque in the region of Béarn.

Our first stop will be Pau Castle, a medieval fortress for an exterior view. Next, we'll proceed to the Boulevard des Pyrénées for views of the mountain system separating France and the Iberian Peninsula.

The tour continues towards the historic centre of Pau, home to the San Martin Church and Place Clemenceau. A stop in the old centre will allow for a chance to try local products, if desired.

Finally, after a 2-hour 15-minute route, we conclude the bike tour in the Trespoey neighbourhood, a notable area in Pau where many Brits resided at the end of the 19th century.
