Travel to the heart of Gerona and see two of the area's most beautiful medieval towns: Rupit and Besalú. Explore their cobbled streets and learn about their history.

Rupit and Besalú Day Trip

The tour meets at the Blanes Bus Station. From here, we will begin our journey to Rupit, which dates back to the 11th Century.

After about an hour and a half, we will arrive at Rupit, where you will have free time to explore. You can wander through its narrow streets filled with stone houses.

Visitors can cross the famous hanging bridge, offering views of the surrounding scenery. A complete Catalonian lunch will be provided before continuing the excursion.

Next, we will visit the Santuario de la Mare de Déu del Far, a church over 1,000 meters above sea level. The guide will share the history of the chapel.

Finally, we will arrive at Besalú, where we will see its bridge, the Jewish baths, San Pedro de Besalú and San Julián monastery, and the old pilgrim's hospital before returning.

The tour will conclude at the starting point after a total of 9.5 hours.
