Glacier Ice Cave & Snowmobile Tour

Join us to explore the Langjökull glacier, the second largest in Europe, and enjoy an unforgettable snowmobile ride.

Description

We will meet at the Gullfoss Cafe parking lot at the indicated time. Prepare for an exciting adventure in the Langjökull glacier.

We will board a monster truck designed for glacier traversal, heading to the Langjökull glacier, home to remarkable ice caves and tunnels.

Before exploring inside, we will enjoy the exterior on snowmobiles. All necessary equipment will be provided, and after a brief instruction, we will drive the snowmobiles.

As we explore the surroundings of the Langjökull glacier, we will view rocky mountains formed by ancient volcanic lava. Midway through the snowmobile experience, we will dismount and enter the ice tunnels of the cave.

Inside, we will discover the glacier's depths, exceeding 300 meters, and witness the distinctive blue ice on the floors, ceilings, and walls of the Langjökull cave.

Finally, we will return on the snowmobiles to the truck, which will take us back to the starting point after a 4-hour tour.

The cave visit will occur if weather conditions are ideal. If not, additional time will be allocated for the snowmobile experience.
