Laugarvatn Snorkel & Spa Tour

On this tour, you will explore the Silfra fissure at Thingvellir National Park. Initially, participants will learn basic snorkelling techniques to safely enjoy the experience of swimming in the crisp waters, located at the juncture of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

During the snorkelling, you will swim through the fissure, encountering notable sections such as Silfra Hall and Silfra Cathedral before concluding at the Blue Lagoon, the shallowest section of the rift. After approximately 35 minutes of snorkelling, participants will return to land for hot chocolate and biscuits to warm up.

Following the refreshments, you will drive to the Laugarvatn Fontana spa, where relaxation awaits. The spa offers geothermal baths, steam baths, and natural pools, providing various options to benefit from the therapeutic properties of the waters. You can choose to spend as much time as desired at the spa after the tour concludes.
