We'll meet at the Thingvellir National Park visitors' centre and board a bus to travel across this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our expert guide will provide necessary safety information.

After a short journey, we will reach the Silfra fissure, where we will get equipped and start snorkelling in this unique natural setting.

Silfra offers over 262 feet (80 metres) of visibility underwater and sits between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, allowing you to snorkel between two continents.

We will snorkel for 45 minutes, exploring the canyon walls, the crystal-clear waters, and the natural flora in the area. The fissure widens into Silfra Hall, showcasing a full spectrum of colours. We will then enter Silfra Cathedral and conclude the snorkelling experience at the Real Blue Lagoon.

Important Information

You must know how to swim to participate in this activity.Pregnant women and children under 12 years old cannot participate. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.Participants must have a reasonable level of fitness and weigh between 99 and 265 lbs (45 and 120 kg), with a height of between 4.9 and 6.5 ft (150 and 200 cm).A liability waiver must be signed. Individuals over 60 years old must complete a medical document.Participants must communicate in English.We will take photos with a GoPro both in and out of the water, which will be sent to you the following day.
