We'll meet at the Thingvellir National Park visitors' centre and board a bus that will take us through this volcanic land, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the journey, an expert guide will provide essential safety information.

After a short trip, we will arrive at the Silfra fissure where we will get outfitted to begin our snorkelling adventure in this unique natural setting.

Silfra is considered one of the best snorkelling sites globally, featuring over 262 feet (80 metres) of visibility and located between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. You will have the opportunity to snorkel between two continents.

We will snorkel for 45 minutes, exploring the canyon walls, various shades of blue, and the natural flora of this Icelandic area. The experience culminates in Silfra Hall and Silfra Cathedral, ending at the deepest point of the fissure, the Real Blue Lagoon.

Important Information

You must know how to swim to participate.Pregnant women and children under 12 years old cannot participate. Minors under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.Participants must have a reasonable fitness level, weighing between 99 and 265 lbs (45 and 120 kg) and height between 4.9 and 6.5 ft (150 and 200 cm).A liability waiver must be signed before participation; individuals over 60 need a medical document.Communication in English is required for the tour.Photos will be taken with a GoPro, and a download link will be provided the next day.
