Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, the Château de Blois is key to understanding French history. You'll be amazed by its extensive collection!
Ticket Details
The Royal Château de Blois, overlooking the Loire River, is a significant monument for understanding France's history from the 13th to 18th centuries. It features a mix of Gothic, Baroque, and French Renaissance architecture. This skip-the-line entrance allows you to explore its evolution at your own pace through its various rooms.
The château is linked to seven kings and ten queens and is divided into four main areas: the remains of the medieval fortress and the Louis XII, François I, and Gaston d'Orléans wings. The quarters of the kings and queens are decorated according to the tastes of different monarchs.
It is also important to see the oratory and Council Chamber, where leaders negotiated international treaties with the French kingdom.
Don't miss the château's iconic staircase, a famous helical staircase featuring Renaissance sculptures.
