The Royal Château de Blois is essential for understanding French history from the 13th to 18th centuries. This building features various architectural styles, including Gothic, Baroque, and French Renaissance. With a skip-the-line entrance, visitors can explore at their own pace.

The château's history is tied to seven kings and ten queens of France and is divided into four main areas: the medieval fortress remnants and the Louis XII, François I, and Gaston d'Orléans wings. Here, the quarters of the kings and queens are decorated in the styles of different French monarchs.

Notable sites include the oratory and the Council Chamber, designed for international negotiations. The château features an iconic staircase with Renaissance sculptures, recognized among the most famous in the Loire Valley.
