Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the Port of Kralendijk, whichever you prefer, and board a bus. We'll explore the island from north to south with short stops to see its main attractions. All aboard!
We'll start by driving along the coast to get closer to Bonaire's vast salt flats. As you admire the huge mountains of salt, we'll discuss how this product is extracted. Additionally, we'll see several slaves' huts that provide insight into this industry's history.
Our sightseeing tour will take us to some of the most beautiful beaches. We'll stop at the 1000 Steps, an unspoiled bay great for pictures.
Next, we'll pass through the mangroves of Goto Lake, see flamingos, and arrive at the municipality of Rincon, founded by Spanish colonizers in the 16th century. Here, we'll visit an old house with a museum to learn about Bonaire's history and traditions. We'll also taste a local specialty - cactus liqueur.
We'll return to the starting point, arriving 3 to 5 hours after the tour begins.
