After about a thirty-minute drive, we will reach Rincon, characterized by its streets lined with the most ancient structures on this Caribbean island. This town, a part of the Netherlands, is nestled within a picturesque valley.

While we wander through the locale, we will visit the museum adjacent to Washington Slagbaai National Park. Here, we will uncover the reasons behind Rincon being designated as the primary settlement for the Spanish upon their arrival to the island.
