At 9 am, pickup from your hotel in Boca Chica will commence as you board the safari trucks for an exploration of the southern Dominican Republic.

The truck safari includes driving over mud flats and uneven terrain, providing an exhilarating experience. You will have opportunities to photograph the extensive sugar cane plantations surrounding the Dominican village of Benérito.

The tour includes a visit to a weighing station and a local village, known as a batey, where you can meet farmers, learn about their lifestyle, and enjoy a tasting of sugar cane.

Proceeding to the city of Higüey, you will learn about Dominican cigar production at an organic tobacco factory. The itinerary continues with a tour of the central market and a visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of Altagracia, followed by a delicious Dominican lunch.

The tour concludes with a dip in the Chavón River, allowing enjoyment of the surroundings. Lastly, a traditional boat cruise on the Chavón River will complete your experience. Following the activities, you will return to the truck and be back at the hotels in Boca Chica around 5 pm.
