The journey begins at 9 am, where we will collect you from your hotel in Boca Chica and hop onto the safari trucks, setting off to discover the southern region of the Dominican Republic.

Throughout the truck safari, you’ll traverse muddy flats and rough landscapes, providing a thrilling experience sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Don’t miss the chance to capture stunning photographs of the vast sugar cane plantations surrounding the Dominican community of Benérito.

Our adventure will take us to a local weighing station and a nearby batey, a traditional village where you'll meet the farmers and gain insight into their daily lives, complemented by a sampling of fresh sugar cane.

The next stop is the vibrant city of Higüey, where you will observe the meticulous process of Dominican cigar production at an organic tobacco factory. Following this, a visit to the bustling central market awaits, along with a tour of the Basilica of the Virgin of Altagracia, culminating in a sumptuous Dominican lunch.

As the day progresses, prepare to relax in the refreshing waters of the Chavón River, where you can enjoy playful moments swinging from the vines. To round off this memorable experience, join us on a traditional boat cruise over the tranquil waters of the Chavón River, complete with a wooden roof. It’s an experience you won’t forget!

After our adventure-filled day, we’ll return to the safari trucks and head back to your hotel in Boca Chica, arriving around 5 pm.
