Saona Island Catamaran Adventure

Your journey begins at 7:30 am when we pick you up from your hotel in Boca Chica and take you to Bayahíbe. From this point, we will set off on a catamaran towards the stunning Saona Island, recognized as one of the most picturesque locales in the Dominican Republic. The island’s breathtaking Caribbean scenery promises to leave a lasting impression on you! It is also part of the Cotubanamá National Park, distinguished as one of the most exquisite national parks in the nation.

As we sail, you can soak up the sun or enjoy music on the catamaran’s deck. You'll have access to an open bar onboard, featuring water, two varieties of soft drinks, along with a sampling of authentic Dominican rum.

Our cruise will take us to the serene shores of Saona, where a delightful buffet lunch awaits you on the beach. The menu, highlighting local flavors, consists of an array of fresh fish, meats, salads, rice, pasta, and tropical fruits, all served with mineral water and soft drinks.

Post-lunch, we will relax on the golden sands of the beach before heading back to the catamaran for another tour of Saona Island. Our next stop will be Las Palmillas beach, where you will enjoy 40 minutes of leisure time to swim and unwind.

Continuing our journey through the Caribbean waters, we will pause for 30 minutes at another spot to take a dip and observe the starfish that reside in this pristine area. Here, we will again raise a toast with some delightful Dominican rum.

As our trip concludes, we will bid farewell to the catamaran crew and return to Bayahíbe by boat. Afterward, we will embark on a bus back to your hotel in Boca Chica, arriving around 6 pm.

Transport by Catamaran or Speedboat

The excursion will generally start with a catamaran ride to Saona Island, returning via speedboat; however, the order can occasionally switch. In such instances, we would depart on a speedboat to Saona Island and return by catamaran.
