Kayak & Snorkel Tour of Isla de Sacrificios
This tour from Boca del Río includes a pick-up at Hotel Punta Azul in Veracruz, followed by a transfer to La Bamba Beach for a basic training session on kayaking. After the lesson, participants will kayak to Isla de Sacrificios, with guidance from professional instructors. The journey to the island takes no more than 40 minutes.
Upon arrival, participants will transition to snorkelling with provided fins, goggles, and breathing tubes in the clear waters surrounding the island, where they can observe marine life from the Veracruz Reef Park. The snorkelling session lasts approximately 45 minutes, after which kayakers will return to La Bamba Beach and be transferred back to the meeting point within 3 hours of starting the activity.
Stand-Up Paddle & Snorkel
Participants have the option to use stand-up paddle boards (SUP) instead of kayaks for the journey to Isla de Sacrificios. Upon reaching the island, snorkelling in the clear waters will also be included before returning to La Bamba on SUP boards.
Activity Requirements
No experience is required to participate; kayaking, snorkelling, and stand-up paddle boarding are suitable for beginners.The maximum weight limit is 120 kg (264 pounds) per person.Children over 14 years old may use a single or double kayak or a stand-up paddle board alone with parental consent.Children between 5 and 13 years old can kayak in a double kayak accompanied by adults, with a combined weight limit of 200 kg (440 pounds).
