Hiking Through the Tararecua Canyon

We will pick you up at your hotel and depart toward Tararecua Canyon. This natural landscape within the Sierra Tarahumara mountain range offers a memorable hiking adventure.

Upon arrival at the canyon, we will start the hike set against a picturesque backdrop. The excursion will cover stunning views of canyons, mountains, forests, waterfalls, rivers, springs, and diverse wildlife in the Chihuahua state.

The hiking trail spans approximately 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) and takes about seven hours to finish. The pace will accommodate the group, allowing for frequent photo stops.

A refreshing picnic lunch will include a turkey sandwich, fruit, cookies, and a beverage, served midway to restore energy.

We will also visit the Ekarine hot springs, where you can relax in natural pools near the river at the base of Tararecua Ravine, marking a rewarding experience after the hike.

After completing the Tararecua Ravine hiking tour, we will return you to your hotel in Creel.
