La Chorrera Forest Hiking Tour

At 7 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Creel. We will board a vehicle to the vicinity of Lake Arareco, where we'll start the hiking route through the forest of La Chorrera, located between two mountains.

We will set off on a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) hike among the trees of this dense forest, known as pinabetes, which can reach 25 meters (82 feet) in height.

During the excursion, we'll admire various plants and animals in the forest of La Chorrera. In summer, mist can often be seen on the trees, creating a unique landscape.

Eventually, we'll reach the highest point of the forest, providing views of the valley of San Ignacio in the distance. After completing the hike, we will return you to your hotel in Creel by around 10 am.
