Åselidalen Valley Day Trip

Description

We'll meet at 9 am at the Bodø Tourist Information Point before taking a minibus to the Åselidalen Valley. As we arrive, we'll observe the Børvasstindane Mountains from afar. These iconic peaks predate Bodø's "Hidden Valley". Afterward, we will walk through the Åselidalen Valley, which was shaped by glaciers millions of years ago. With our guide, we'll uncover the secrets of these mountains, all exceeding 1000 metres (3281 feet).

Our trek will include lakes and winding and irregular paths. This day trip accommodates all fitness levels, with multiple stops to enjoy the views and enhance your experience.

A highlight of the trek is the visit to Saltstraumen, the straits of the Norwegian Sea separating the Straumen and Straumøya islands.

After our tour, we'll return to our original meeting point, concluding our journey around 4 pm.
