Åselidalen Valley Day Trip

Description

We'll meet at the Bodø Tourist Information Point at the indicated time, then take a minibus to the Åselidalen Valley. Upon arrival, we will observe the Børvasstindane Mountains and begin our trek through the valley carved by glaciers millions of years ago. Our guide will help us uncover the secrets of these mountains, all of which rise above 1000 metres (3281 feet).

The trek includes lakes and winding paths, designed for all fitness levels. We will make multiple stops to enjoy the views and ensure a pleasant experience.

A highlight of the hike is the visit to Saltstraumen, the straits separating the Straumen and Straumøya islands.

After the tour, we will return to our original meeting point, concluding our journey approximately 7 hours later.
