Electric Bike Tour + Moose Watching

Looking to spot some moose in Norway? Join this fun and original safari via electric bike, leading you to encounter these majestic mammals of Straumøya.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Hotel Radisson Blu in Bodø. From there, we'll board a minibus, arriving at Straumen Strait in 30 minutes, where the electric bikes await. Our cycling route will last approximately two hours, aiming to witness wild moose inhabiting the island of Straumøya.

During this bike safari, we will cycle through the island's forests, enjoying views of the Saltfjorden fjord as we seek out wild moose. There will be several stops, and you can enjoy snacks and a hot drink provided along the way.

Join us on our Straumøya cycling adventure as we explore questions such as whether moose are truly solitary creatures, how they shed and renew their antlers, and the dangers they face. This educational experience will keep your curiosity piqued throughout the journey.

After completing our bicycle ride, we will return to the starting point following four hours of hiking.
