Looking for an adventurous sightseeing experience in the Bodø region? Join us for a boat cruise tour around Kjerringøy and Nordfjord for a maritime adventure!
Description
On the day of the activity, we will meet at the pier behind the Bryggerikaia Restaurant (Sjøgata 1) at the scheduled time. We will set off across the calm waters towards the beaches of Hovdsundet and Mjelle.
After sailing past the beaches, we will reach the fjord of Nordfjorden, the sixth-longest fjord in Norway, at 106 kilometres (65 miles) in length. This fjord, located within the Sjunkhatten National Park, remains untouched.
Guides onboard will provide information about the environment, and there will be numerous opportunities to photograph the stunning landscapes of northern Norway.
Next, we will visit the Kjerringøy Handelsted, an 18th-century trading post. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore this open-air museum, consisting of 15 buildings, and learn about its rich history.
Finally, after a tour lasting between 5 and 6 hours, we will return to Bodø. Til neste gang!
