Moose Watching in Bodø

Join us on a moose-watching tour in Bodø as we venture deep into the forests in search of these Nordic creatures.

Description

At 7 pm, we'll meet at the tourist information point in Bodø for a safari in search of Europe's largest land animal: the moose.

We'll travel on a comfortable minibus through the forests surrounding Bodø, aiming to catch glimpses of these creatures in areas known for excellent visibility and high likelihood of encounters. However, animal behavior can be unpredictable.

Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guide will share insights about the Norwegian moose, which differ from their Canadian counterparts. Moose can reach lengths of up to 6.5 ft (2 meters). During the tour, we will also provide a refreshing drink and snack.

With our cameras filled with shots of the moose, we'll return to the starting point, arriving around 11 pm.
