Join us on this hiking route through Boca da Onca to see the highest waterfall in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Limestone gorges, natural pools, and native forests will mark our steps.
Boca da Onca Hiking Tour
At the agreed time, we will meet at Rodovia Bodoquena. From this point, we will start a hiking route to the Boca da Onca waterfall, the highest in Mato Grosso do Sul, measuring 156 meters (511 feet).
We will hike deeper into the Brazilian native forest, experiencing a route of moderate difficulty totaling 4.5 kilometers (2.7 miles).
Before reaching Boca da Onça, we will see another eight waterfalls along the way and make several stops to rest. You can take a refreshing dip in the Salobra River and in the natural pools we encounter.
We will explain how the Boca da Onca waterfall was formed, visit the river beach, and discuss the connection of this natural monument to a jaguar.
After five hours of walking, we will return to the starting point, where you will find rest areas, a swimming pool, a bar, and a small museum.

Once you have made your reservation, we will contact you to confirm the starting time of the activity, which will be between 7 am and 4 pm.
