Are you a cocoa lover? Then you can't miss this Bogota chocolate workshop, where you'll learn how to make your own chocolates and taste other sweet local products.
Bogota Chocolate Workshop
Colombian cocoa is considered one of the best in the world, making this food experience in Bogotá essential for chocolate enthusiasts.
We'll meet at 4 pm at The Cranky Croc Hostel, followed by a walk to a central location for the chocolate workshop. Participants will taste chocolates from five regions of Colombia, featuring various cocoa percentages, from pure dark to softer milk blends.
The workshop covers all stages of the chocolate-making process and explores which tropical fruits complement each type of Colombian cocoa. After the tasting, attendees will select their favorite chocolates to create different confections, taking home a box with three chocolates made by themselves.
The experience concludes with a typical Colombian cake option, including almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, or mantecada. Additionally, participants can choose an arepa from three varieties: boyacense, santandereana, or the classic version made with corn, aniseed, and cheese.
The event ends at 5:30 pm at the workshop location. Participants can receive assistance to return to the meeting point if desired.
