Bogota Chocolate Workshop
Join this Bogota chocolate workshop to learn how to make your own chocolates and taste local products. Colombian cocoa is renowned worldwide, making this experience essential for chocolate enthusiasts.
Meet at 4 pm at The Cranky Croc Hostel, followed by a walk to a central location in Bogotá for the workshop. Participants will taste chocolates from five regions of Colombia, featuring varying cocoa percentages, from pure dark chocolate to milder milk blends.
The workshop covers the entire chocolate-making process and explores which tropical fruits complement different types of Colombian cocoa. After the tasting, participants will select their favorite chocolates to create unique confections. Each person will leave with a box containing three self-made chocolates.
The experience concludes with a selection of typical Colombian cake, with options including almojábana, carimañola, pandebono, puff pastry, empanadas, or mantecada. Additionally, participants can choose an arepa from three varieties: boyacense, santandereana, or the classic corn, anise, and cheese version.
The workshop ends at 5:30 pm at the same location. Assistance to the meeting point is available upon request.
