Visit an authentic Colombian coffee plantation on this day trip from Bogotá and help the farmers pick the beans to make a delicious cup of coffee!

Bogotá Coffee Farm Trip

We'll meet at the indicated time at The Cranky Croc Hostel and hop on the bus to the mountains of Bogotá. The journey includes views of the Choachí district until we reach an organic coffee farm. After a bus ride of approximately an hour and a half, we will arrive at the plantation where farmers will provide insights into their daily work and the coffee bean harvesting process.

Next, we will enjoy a traditional Colombian breakfast made by the farmers before assisting them to pick ripe coffee beans from over 8,000 coffee plants. After harvesting, we will learn about the subsequent steps as we process the beans through a machine to clean and select them, concluding with a tasting of a delicious cup of coffee!

Before returning to Bogotá, we will stop for a homemade lunch, with the overall trip lasting between 8.5 to 9 hours, culminating with drop-off at the starting point.
