At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Plazoleta del Chorro de Quevedo to begin a comprehensive bike tour of Bogotá's historic centre. This tour is designed for those who wish to explore the city while exercising.
Once gathered, we'll cycle around Bogotá to view the main attractions, from La Candelaria to the Teusaquillo neighbourhood. This tour lasts 3 hours, during which we will explore significant streets and stop at notable sites such as Independence Park, which commemorates the first centenary of independence.
Nearby, we will visit the Bogotá Planetarium and the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art (MAMBO). We will also arrive at Plaza de Bolívar, where key monuments are located, including the Primada Cathedral, the National Capitol, and the Mayor's Office, learning about Colombia's colonial past.
Bogotá is recognized as one of the best cities in Latin America for cycling, enhancing the tour experience. We will cycle along Calle 72 to Carrera Séptima, passing the Four Seasons Casa Medina and noting the European influence in Chapinero’s architecture. We will also see some of the city's major private universities before reaching the Bogotá International Centre.
Finally, we will pass through Enrique Olaya Herrera National Park, an open-air museum, and continue to Parkway Boulevard in Teusaquillo, concluding our tour with a return to the starting point.
