Trip to Villa de Leyva (Duration: 12 hours)
At 7 am, we will set off to explore Villa de Leyva, one of Colombia's most enchanting towns. The 3-hour journey provides an opportunity to unravel the history of this locale, characterized by stunning natural beauty and unique pre-Columbian architecture.
Before we reach our destination, a brief stop will be made at the Boyacá Bridge, a pivotal site in Colombia's fight for independence, and in Ráquira, a vibrant town recognized for its ceramics.
Once in Villa de Leyva, we will wander through its picturesque streets to the Plaza Mayor, Colombia's largest square. To immerse yourself in the town's history, we will also visit the Museo Paleontológico, Casa Terracora, and the traditional hut Sol Muisca. You will have one hour of free time for lunch before we return to your hotel in Bogotá.

Guatavita + Salt Cathedral Tour (Duration: 10 hours)
At 8 am, we’ll pick you up at your hotel to embark on a journey to the Guatavita Lagoon. As we travel, you will hear captivating legends about this sacred site to the Muisca culture. Did you know that Guatavita inspired the El Dorado legend?
After admiring this stunning lagoon, we will continue our trip to Zipaquirá, home to the country’s first wonder: the Salt Cathedral. In this remarkable underground sanctuary, you’ll see the world’s largest underground cross, a virtual reality experience, and intriguing salt formations.
Following the visit, you'll have one hour of free time to sample local cuisine in Zipaquirá before we return to your hotel in Bogotá.
