The adventure starts with a walk from the Mercado de Paloquemao, entrance 10. We will use public transport to reach the capital's fruit market, discussing Colombia's culinary traditions and the significance of tropical fruits in its gastronomy during the journey.

Upon arrival at the market, we will explore various tropical fruits. One highlight is granadilla, with its sweet pulp. We will also taste zapote, whose rough skin conceals a refreshing orange flesh inside.

In the market, we'll visit the passion fruit stall and learn about its flavors and historical claims of aphrodisiac properties. A visit to a soursop stall will reveal its mild flavor hidden beneath its rough exterior.
