Cundinamarca Coffee Tour

On this tour from Bogotá, we'll learn about Colombian coffee in Fusagasugá, San Francisco, or Cachipay. We will visit a farm and taste its typical products. Welcome to Cundinamarca!

Description

After picking you up from your chosen meeting point in Bogotá, we'll head south from the Colombian capital.

We will visit a coffee plantation in either Fusagasugá, San Francisco, or Cachipay, depending on availability. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour in English or Spanish lasting 1.5-2 hours. During the tour, we will learn about the different stages of Colombian coffee production, including planting, harvesting, processing, curing, tasting, roasting, and grinding. We will also taste some coffee while enjoying views of the plantation's fields.

Next, we will take a tour of one of the three towns in Cundinamarca, where we will have 1 hour of free time for lunch to try some authentic Colombian gastronomy.

After lunch, we will return to the meeting point in Bogotá, arriving back after a total of 8-10 hours.

Important

The tour will include a Spanish-speaking driver during transfers. There will be an English or Spanish-speaking guide for the plantation tour, depending on availability.
