Tour Details

We will meet at the ticket office of the Monserrate cable car at the designated time to start our guided tour. From there, we'll take the cable car, subject to availability, to the mountain top for impressive city views.

At the summit, we will visit the Basilica of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate and discuss its history as an important pilgrimage destination, drawing visitors worldwide. You will learn about Catholic traditions and customs in Colombia.

As we walk around the mountain, we will stop at the main viewpoints to admire Bogota from an elevation of 3152 metres (10341 feet). This height allows for expansive views, including the outskirts of the capital.

We will stop at the wishing well to throw a coin and make a wish at the feet of the Virgin of Monserrate, a noteworthy tradition.

Finally, we will return to our initial meeting point after this hour-and-a-half-long tour.
