La Candelaria & Gold Museum Walking Tour

  • 4 Stunden - 1 Tag

Description

Join us on a guided tour of the Gold Museum and La Candelaria, the historic neighborhood in Bogotá. We'll start at Chantonner Delikatesen with a breakfast of chocolate and pandebono before exploring the church of San Francisco, the Archaeological Museum Casa del Marqués de San Jorge, and the Gold Museum of Bogota. Admire the golden pieces from pre-Colombian civilizations like the Muiscas and Calimas.

Next, we'll visit Plaza de Bolivar, home to the Primatial Cathedral of Bogotá, Capitolio Nacional, and Lievano Palace. Then, we'll head to La Candelaria to see the 10th Street of the Colony, Colegio San Bartolomé, and historic houses.

Our tour continues to the Miguel Urrutia Art Museum, featuring the famous monstrance La Lechuga, and the Botero Museum, showcasing works by Fernando Botero. After four hours of exploration, the tour will conclude.
