On our day trip to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, you'll discover one of the most fascinating underground monuments in the world and explore the charming town of Zipaquirá.

Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá Day Trip

After picking you up from your chosen meeting point in Bogotá, we'll begin our journey to the municipality of Zipaquirá, taking between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours.

Upon arrival, you will have 2 hours of free time in the Salt Cathedral, located 590 feet (180 metres) underground. Inside, you can admire various sculptures and crosses made from salt alongside marble elements. Key features include the choir, Stations of the Cross, and water mirrors. The temple was named the first of the Seven Wonders of Colombia in 2007.

You will also have 1 hour of free time in Zipaquirá for lunch and a stroll around the old quarter, where you'll see the Santísima Trinidad Cathedral and colonial-style buildings.

We will then return to Bogotá and drop you off.
