The grapes from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy are known for producing outstanding products. During our wine tasting in Bologna, you'll have the opportunity to sample various varieties. Plus, you'll enjoy local appetizers, making it a unique experience at one of the city's authentic osterias.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Nettuno, a central hub in Bologna. From there, we'll stroll to a typical osteria, which changes depending on the season.

In this establishment, we'll savor a tasting experience featuring three Italian wines bearing the esteemed DOC label, signifying their Denomination of Controlled Origin. Throughout the tasting, we'll delve into distinguishing between various varieties and uncover the primary grape types cultivated in Emilia-Romagna.

Our wine tasting will include a complement of regional products, including traditional breads, cheeses, and Bologna's renowned mortadellas. You'll discover that these Italian treats are perfect companions for the wines.

We'll also learn intriguing facts about Bologna's osterias during this enological and gastronomic adventure. Once dedicated solely to serving wine, these establishments now offer an exceptional culinary experience, featuring traditional recipes that showcase the region's culinary heritage.

Our 2-hour Italian wine tasting will conclude at the osteria.
