Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time in Piazza Nettuno, a central hub in Bologna. From there, we'll head to a typical osteria, which may vary depending on the season.

In this establishment, we'll experience a tasting that includes three Italian wines with the esteemed DOC label, indicating their Denomination of Controlled Origin. We'll explore the differences between varieties and identify the main grape types cultivated in Emilia-Romagna, a key wine region in Italy.

This wine tasting will be accompanied by regional products, which include traditional breads, cheeses, Bologna's renowned mortadellas, and other local delicacies. These Italian treats are paired excellently with the wines offered.

Additionally, we will learn about Bologna's osterias during this gastronomic adventure. Originally focused solely on wine, these establishments now present an exceptional culinary experience with traditional recipes reflecting the region's rich culinary heritage.

Our 2-hour Italian wine tasting will conclude at the osteria.
