On this day trip to Ravenna from Bologna, we'll discover the artistic heritage of the City of the Mosaics.

Description

At the scheduled time, you'll head to the Bologna Central Station to begin your trip to Ravenna. You'll board a train that takes you to the meeting point for the tour, only an hour away.

Upon arrival, you'll start a guided tour of Ravenna, a city with 8 monuments recognized as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The tour includes major attractions such as the San Apolina Basilica, the Gala Placidia Mausoleum, the San Vitale Basilica, and the Neonian Baptistry. The mosaics are a highlight.

Departing from the Piazza San Francesco, the tour will navigate the streets of the old town and include stops at the main points of interest. After the guided tour, you'll have an hour of free time to eat and continue exploring the city.

Finally, you'll return to the station to take the train back to Bologna, concluding your experience after a total of 7 hours.

Note that you'll need to take the train on your own. In Ravenna, the guide will meet you at Piazza San Francesco 7, approximately a 10-minute walk from the Ravenna train station.
