Bio Park Guided Tour

At the agreed time we'll meet at the entrance of Bio Park, a wildlife refuge located 5 kilometres from the centre of Bonito. We'll enter its facilities to learn about the dangers faced by Brazilian wildlife while discovering the important work this centre does to preserve various species.

Bio Park aims to promote conservation and environmental awareness by showing visitors some animals that cannot return to their natural habitat. We'll learn why these animals have been excluded from their true home as we tour this refuge.

During the tour we'll see different Brazilian species, such as birds, reptiles, and mammals. We'll meet the giant anteater, the jaguar, the peccary, and many other animals. We'll also visit the Bio Park farm, which houses calves, pigs, and ponies. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk with the vets and biologists who work at the centre.

After a one and a half hour guided tour, we'll say goodbye outside the Bio Park.
