Fresh air, waterfalls and privileged views of the Serra da Bodoquena are the highlights of this hiking route along the Mimoso River. We'll walk along the banks of this river, admiring the nature that surrounds Bonito.

Mimoso River Waterfalls Hiking Tour

At the agreed time we'll meet at the Mimosa ranch, located 25 kilometres north of Bonito. From this point, we'll start a hiking route that explores the incredible waterfalls of the Mimoso River.

During the hike we'll cover a total of 2.8 kilometres (1.7 miles), learning about the surrounding landscape's flora and fauna.

We'll enter wooded areas along the banks of the Mimoso River and encounter wooden walkways and up to ten waterfalls. We'll also stop at different viewpoints for panoramic views of the Serra da Bodoquena National Park.

Participants will have the opportunity to swim in natural pools formed by the waterfalls of the Mimoso River. One of the pools features a platform for jumping from a height of 6 metres (19.6 feet).

After four hours of walking, we'll conclude the hiking route at the starting point.
