Have you ever imagined what it would be like to swim inside an aquarium? Now you can experience this sensation by snorkelling in the Baía Bonita River, ideal for exploring the aquatic fauna and flora of Mato Grosso do Sul!

Snorkelling in the Baía Bonita River

At the appointed time, we will meet at the Aquário Natural, an ecological reserve located 8 kilometres from the centre of Bonito. This refuge features the crystal clear waters of the Baía Bonita river.

We will equip ourselves with all necessary gear: wetsuit, lifejacket, snorkelling goggles and snorkel. Once ready, we will start a 15 minute hike to the river's source, where we may spot local monkeys and birds.

Into the water! We will swim to discover the rich biodiversity of this natural site, encountering hundreds of fish and river vegetation. The limestone and sunlight reflections contribute to the river's clarity, which we will explain while snorkelling.

After two and a half hours of activity, we will conclude at the starting point. Optionally, you can finish the day by relaxing in the pools and jacuzzi of the Aquário Bonito reserve.
