Snorkelling in the Sucuri River

At the agreed time, we will meet at Fazenda São Geraldo, a ranch near the Sucuri River. From there, we will walk along a path to the source of the river.

We'll cross a riverside forest until we reach the Sucuri River with its crystalline waters. We will put on our wetsuits, goggles and snorkel and dive into the water.

We'll swim along the Sucuri River for a total of 1.8 kilometres (1.1 miles). During the dive, we will see various fish, especially brycon and curimbas. We will help identify the species encountered and explain why this river is one of the best places in Brazil for snorkelling.

After two hours of snorkelling, we will conclude the activity at the starting point.
