When you visit the Cité du Vin (City of Wine), you'll discover everything about Bordeaux's famous wine culture and its historical wine-growing tradition dating back centuries.

After exchanging your voucher for tickets at the priority gate, you'll start your visit to the wine museum, located in a huge open space building with state-of-the-art design.

You will explore the evolution of wine through 20 different themed areas of the museum, understanding why Bordeaux is synonymous with wine and why the region produces some of the best wines globally.

After learning about the various types of wines produced along the Garonne River, you can taste a glass of wine at the Belvedere of the museum. From its panoramic terrace, enjoy the spectacular views of Bordeaux.
