When you visit the Cité du Vin (City of Wine), you'll learn about Bordeaux's famous wine culture and its historical wine-growing tradition. After exchanging your voucher for tickets at the priority gate, you'll start your visit to the wine museum, housed in a modern building.

The journey will take you through the evolution of wine as you explore 20 different themed areas of the museum. Discover why Bordeaux is synonymous with this beverage and the region's reputation for producing some of the best wines worldwide.

After exploring the various types of wines produced along the Garonne River, enjoy a glass of wine at the Belvedere of the museum. From its panoramic terrace, experience unique views of the city of Bordeaux.
