Saint-Emilion Day Trip + Visit to the Monolithic Church + Wine Tasting

On this trip to Saint-Émilion from Bordeaux , we will visit the Monolithic Church and enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery.

Description

We will pick you up at your hotel in Bordeaux and travel towards the medieval town of Saint-Émilion. During the 40-minute journey, we will discuss the region and its renowned wines.

Upon arrival in Saint-Émilion, we will take a walking tour of the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. First, we will visit the Trinity Chapel to view its Romanesque and Gothic medieval paintings.

Next, we will explore the Monolithic Church, an underground church carved from rock by more than 50 monks. We will see the vaults and pillars of its catacombs.

Afterwards, we will proceed to the local winery for a tasting of 3 Grand Cru wines, learning about their production and origins.

Finally, we will return to Bordeaux, concluding the trip after a total of 5 hours.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in the center of Bordeaux. For those staying outside the area, pickup will occur at the indicated time from the Tourist Office in Bordeaux at Place des Quinconces.
