On this trip to Saint-Émilion from Bordeaux, we'll visit the Monolithic Church and enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery.

Description

Pickup will be arranged from your hotel in Bordeaux at the scheduled time, followed by a journey to the medieval town of Saint-Émilion while learning about the region and its wines.

After approximately 40 minutes, we will arrive at Saint-Émilion for a walking tour of its historic center, a World Heritage Site. We will first visit the Trinity Chapel to observe the blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles in its medieval paintings.

The tour will continue with a visit to the Monolithic Church, an underground church carved into the rock by over 50 monks. We will explore its underground areas, including the vaults and pillars of its catacombs.

Following our exploration, we will proceed to a local winery for a tasting of 3 Grand Cru wines, where we will learn about their production and origin.

We will return to Bordeaux to conclude this trip after a total duration of 5 hours.
