Tour Options

When booking your trip to Saint Emilion from Bordeaux, you can opt for a wine-tasting tour at a Château Grand Cru winery or a family-run winery. Both options include pickup at the indicated time from the Monument to the Girondins at Place des Quinconces, transport, and an English-speaking guide.

Tour + Wine tasting at a family winery (4 hours)

After a 40-minute drive, we'll arrive in Saint-Émilion for a guided tour of the historic centre, a World Heritage Site. We will learn about the legend of an 8th-century Benedictine monk. Following that, we'll visit a family-run winery, where we will explore the vineyards and observe the winemaking process. The tour concludes with a tasting of 2 wines paired with a typical French aperitif of bread, cheese, cold meats, and chocolate. We will return to Bordeaux 4 hours after the start of the tour.

Tour + Wine tasting at a Château Grand Cru winery (4.5 hours)

After meeting at Place des Quinconces, we will travel to the medieval village of Saint-Émilion. Our guide will share facts about the region's winemaking tradition, and we will visit the cellar of a château. We will taste four Grand Cru Classé wines paired with typical French products, including bread and fresh cheese. After this experience, we will have a guided tour of Saint-Émilion. The tour ends with our return to Bordeaux after 4.5 hours.
