When booking your trip to Saint Emilion from Bordeaux, choose between a wine-tasting tour at a Château Grand Cru winery or a family-run winery. Both options include pickup from the Monument to the Girondins at Place des Quinconces, transport, and a professional guide.

Tour + Wine Tasting at a Family Winery (4 Hours)

We will meet at the designated location and, after a 40-minute drive, arrive in Saint-Émilion for a guided tour of its historic centre, a World Heritage Site. Learn about a legend concerning an 8th-century Benedictine monk.

Next, we will visit a family-run winery on the village outskirts, where Bordeaux wines are produced. Explore the vineyards, storage rooms, and the winemaking process from grape picking to bottling. The guided tour will conclude with a tasting of 2 wines and a typical French aperitif. We will return to Bordeaux 4 hours after departure.

Tour + Wine Tasting at a Château Grand Cru Winery (4.5 Hours)

After meeting at Place des Quinconces, we will travel by minibus to the medieval village of Saint-Émilion. Our guide will share insights about the region's winemaking tradition as we admire vineyards and cellars.

We will visit a château's cellar to witness the production of Grand Cru Classé wines, followed by a tasting of four wines paired with typical French products, such as bread and fresh cheese. The tour continues with a guided visit to Saint-Émilion's centre, another World Heritage Site. We will return to Bordeaux after 4.5 hours.
