Tour Options

When booking your trip to Saint Emilion from Bordeaux, choose between a wine-tasting tour at a Château Grand Cru winery or a family-run winery.

Both options include pickup at the indicated time from the Monument to the Girondins at Place des Quinconces, transport and an English-speaking guide.

Tour + Wine tasting at a family winery (4 hours)

After a 40-minute drive, we will arrive in Saint-Émilion, where a guided tour will introduce the historic centre, a World Heritage Site. We will learn about an 8th-century Benedictine monk's legend.

Next, we will visit a family-run winery where Bordeaux wines are produced. The tour includes a walk through the vineyards, a look at the barrel storage rooms, and observation of the winemaking process. The visit ends with a tasting of 2 wines along with a typical French aperitif. We will return to Bordeaux after 4 hours.

Tour + Wine tasting at a Château Grand Cru winery (4.5 hours)

After meeting at Place des Quinconces, we will travel by minibus to the village of Saint-Émilion.

Our guide will share insights about the region's winemaking tradition as we admire the vineyards and cellars. We will visit a château cellar to learn about crafting Grand Cru Classé wines and enjoy a tasting of four wines paired with typical French products.

The experience concludes with a guided tour of Saint-Émilion, whose old town is a World Heritage Site. We will return to Bordeaux after 4.5 hours.
